The Innovation Fund for Agriculture, refinanced by MASAF and managed by ISMEA, is a strategic opportunity for businesses in the agriculture, fishing, and aquaculture sectors. With an increased allocation of 100 million euros for 2024, this fund encourages the adoption of advanced and sustainable technologies to enhance productivity and reduce environmental impact.
The fund supports investments in machinery and digital, robotic, sensor-based, and 4.0 solutions, aiming to foster greater efficiency and sustainability. Of the total funds, 30 million euros are reserved for businesses located in areas affected by the floods of May 2023 in Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany, and Marche.
Eligible applicants include agricultural, fishing, and agro-mechanical SMEs that have been active for at least two years. Qualifying investments cover machinery, innovative equipment, and sustainable infrastructure. Non-repayable grants can cover up to 95% of eligible expenses, with amounts ranging from 70,000 to 500,000 euros (10,000 euros for fishing SMEs).
Applications must be submitted via the dedicated online portal by December 13, 2024.
