On May 24, the Grosseto City Council approved a new Structural Plan, an urban planning document that aims to transform and define the city’s future development. This plan replaces the previous one from 2006.
Some 70 comments were received by the City Council, from both private individuals and agencies, and were reviewed by the relevant offices and architect Silvia Viviani, the plan’s drafter.
After incorporating the comments that were accepted or partially accepted, the Structural Plan now establishes the framework within which Grosseto can be developed in the coming years. Within this framework, the Operational Plan, formerly known as the Urban Regulations, will also be drafted.
