More than 3,200 individuals, guided by experts and in compliance with safety regulations, had the opportunity to explore the two main water sources in the area served by AdF. These included the Ermicciolo spring in Vivo d’Orcia (municipality of Castiglione d’Orcia, province of Siena), along with the nearby AdF Water Museum, and the Santa Fiora spring, located in the municipality of the same name in the province of Grosseto. The number of participants, including many schools, registered a 30 percent increase over 2022.
In detail, in 2023, the Ermicciolo spring welcomed 2,700 visitors (574 more than in 2022), while the Santa Fiora spring had 516 visitors (208 more than in 2022). This activity was conducted in collaboration with the municipal administrations and through cooperation with the Parco Vivo cooperative and the Pro Loco of Santa Fiora.
