The Via Genova manufacturing hub will receive 1.3 million euros in funding from the government’s Development and Cohesion Plan, with the Tuscany Regional Council’s approval in response to a request made by the City of Grosseto. This financial support was derived from the “Zero Point Area” master plan submitted in 2022 by Confindustria Toscana Sud to the municipality, which promptly started the design phase to make the idea a reality. The Region also included in the financing the seismic and fire retrofitting of the school in Via Mazzini, in the heart of the city, in the amount of 620 thousand euros, at the request of the City Hall. The mayor expresses great satisfaction with the success of the two projects and thanks the offices involved, stressing the importance of redeveloping the industrial area and upgrading the school to improve the quality of education.
