Tuscany Region publishes two calls for tenders to innovate and support fishing enterprises

The Tuscany Region has published two new European calls under the FEAMPA (European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund) 2021-2027, with a total budget exceeding €2.6 million. These funds aim to promote the sustainable management of aquatic resources and support innovative projects in the fisheries and aquaculture sectors.

The main beneficiaries of these funds are small and medium-sized enterprises involved in the production, processing, and marketing of fish products, with the goal of enhancing competitiveness and sustainability.

  • Promotion of fishery and aquaculture product processing and marketing

    The first call, with a budget of €1,334,065.06, focuses on improving the processing and marketing activities of fishery products. The aim is to make the sector’s operations safer and more competitive, improving working conditions while promoting technological and environmental innovation.     • Resilience and sustainability in the aquaculture sector

    The second call, with a budget of €1,329,224.37, specifically targets the aquaculture sector. The goal is to support the energy transition and environmental sustainability of businesses, strengthening their competitiveness and encouraging investments that enhance the sector’s resilience.
