An important agreement has been signed between the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry (MASAF), Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) and Intesa Sanpaolo. This agreement aims to promote favorable credit policies to support the growth of the Italian agricultural and agribusiness sector, in line with the objectives of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRP). Intesa Sanpaolo has committed to allocate €20 billion to the agricultural sector, part of a €410 billion credit ceiling planned to support various PNRR initiatives, with the support also of funds from CDP. The announcement of the agreement was made in the Ministry’s Sala Cavour, in the presence of key figures such as Minister Francesco Lollobrigida and executives from CDP and Intesa Sanpaolo.
