The city council approved the 2024-26 budget forecast: the goal is to ensure the quality of services without increasing fees and contributions. On the occasion, the mayor assured on the grounding of PNRR interventions that will “change the face of the city.” Work is also proceeding on the side of the process of digital transition and simplification of the administration with the implementation of the software on the tourist tax, the opening of the new taxpayer desk, and systems to combat waste abandonment. The tourism and cultural sectors remain a priority: the calendar full of events, the enhancement of the walls and the historic center, the implementation of the Chellania and the development of the Buttero Museum are proof of this. Infrastructure works are also central. In fact, extraordinary maintenance called “Great Roads,” the executive project regarding the Via Genova traffic circle, the energy efficiency of sports facilities and the implementation of video surveillance systems in the historic center are also planned.
