The City of Grosseto, in collaboration with Promo P.A. Foundation, has launched a project to enhance services to support businesses interested in investing in the Grosseto area.
The project, called Invest in Grosseto, involves the restructuring of attraction, accompaniment and assistance activities for businesses, as well as the redefinition of an attractive territorial offer. Invest in Grosseto intends to enhance the area’s elements of greater competitiveness and consolidate the dialogue between businesses and the public administration, facilitating the comparison with municipal offices that over time have developed valuable skills in planning and supporting economic activities.
The project envisages the creation of a dedicated portal (www.investingrosseto.it) in which the tangible and intangible offer of the territory will be conveyed and in which the offer of areas for productive and/or commercial use will also be highlighted. Indeed, in the portal it is intended to give space to public and private operators who hold land, warehouses or buildings potentially of interest for possible investment and who can enrich the territorial offer.
The portal was launched today, following a press conference attended by the area’s representative associations, previously contacted through dedicated meetings in order to gather input, proposals and suggestions.
The portal in fact, in its function as a “showcase” of the territory’s opportunities, will also be a platform open to territorial stakeholders, to convey investment projects and highlight the territory’s strengths from the point of view of entrepreneurial presence.
“Invest in Grosseto wants to be a showcase for our territory, a container of news and curiosities that can best focus on the characteristics of the area,” comment the mayor Antonfrancesco Vivarelli Colonna and deputy mayor Bruno Ceccherini. “We are on the eve of the adoption of the structural plan, then we will start with the initiation of the operational plan process. These actions to promote the territory testify that we are going in the right direction to make Grosseto a coveted territory in which to do business. Again, meetings with the territorial associations involved have proven to be a winning tool. Consolidating and strengthening the consultation with trade associations is a focus of this Administration to know and, consequently, respond to the needs of the community and our entrepreneurs.”
Also pleased was Annalisa Giachi, Promo P.A. research manager, who comments, ” The new service is intended to be a reference point for entrepreneurs who wish to relate with the Administration. Today, with the launch of the portal, we are celebrating an important point of arrival for us, part of a path on which Fondazione has been working for some time, going on to build a strategic plan, a model with a broad vision and open to discussion with citizens.”
